Bio
Dr. Ge Li is a tenure-track assistant professor of mechanical engineering at the University of Alberta (UofA). She received her Ph.D. from East China Normal University (ECNU) with two years of research experience at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and B.Sc. from Hohai University (HHU). She was recruited to Concordia University in 2018 as a visiting professor before joining UofA in 2019. Her research group mainly focuses on the rational design and development of advanced nanostructured materials for clean energy technologies, including various types of rechargeable batteries, fuel cells, supercapacitors, electrocatalysis systems. Dr. Li's research group also works on bridging the fundamental understanding of the electrochemical/electrocatalytic behaviors of novel materials and the fabrication of energy systems for practical applications.
