Communications and Professional Development
Do you want to engage others in your research and effectively share your story? Do you want to enhance your career-related skills?
Many successful researchers share an important ability: they effectively communicate their research to people outside the lab, including collaborators, fellow academics, representatives from government or industry, and the interested public.
The FES Communications Team is helping FES research personnel develop communication skills through a series of virtual lunch-and-learn seminars. Join a small group of interested participants in discussing a variety of communications and professional development topics.
Professional development credits may be achieved by completion of seminar and associated reflective work (at the discretion of your department).
Seminars will be led by Outreach and Engagement Coordinator, Dr. Valerie Miller.
